Insurance Conditions
Vehicles are insured subject to the terms of the agreement and are subject to the following excesses.
Cars
Drivers over 25 years of age, an excess of $750.00 applies. This amount can be reduced to $250.00 by paying an additional $15.00 per day.
Drivers over 21 years but under 25 years, an excess of $2000.00 applies. This can be reduced to $1250.00 by paying an additional $15.00 per day.
An additional excess of $2000.00 applies for damage sustained as a result of driving on unsealed roads, or in the event of a single vehicle accident.
Security Bond
A security bond of $300 is required upon hiring of vehicle (credit card imprint which will be destroyed four weeks after returning the vehicle in acceptable condition). This is to ensure the vehicle is returned in good, clean condition (windscreen, tyres, etc) and with a full tank of fuel.
